REFLECTION (AFTER THE LANGUAGE CAMP)

In my opinion, the facilitators were very concerned about the safety of the participants so that they did not involve in any accident / injury / loss of life / property before, during or after the language camp. Therefore, the safety and welfare of participants were assured to a reasonable extent.
In addition, the committee had divided the time for the language camp perfectly. The time allocated for each session of language camp was very adequate. Although the camp started late, the committee had successfully ensured that the camp ended in a timely manner.
I chose to join this camp because it trained my leadership skills that I am not very good at. I was able to witness how truly talented these students really are. While I certainly enjoyed the day, it is obvious that the students were given the opportunity to improve their English language skills in the camp. By facilitating the activity on that day, it was good to see that the students did not give up in learning English.
In conclusion, I was very happy because I could be one of the facilitators for the language camp. Besides of providing assistance to the organizer, I could also learn to manage the language camp and gain valuable experience.

Pei Ching, i agree with you that it trained our leadership skills that we couldn't learn in classroom. Each of us needed to lead one group which had 9 students. We guided them how to complete the tasks given and established a rapport. It was a sense of achievement when they finished the tasks successfully :)
