After the camp, I learnt that it is always not an
easy task to get one language camp to run successfully and smoothly. There will
be a lot of unexpected incidents or cases happen during the camp. Like ours,
the technical problem of the school’s PA system, hot environment of the hall
and the gastric pain of one of our facilitators, etc.
Besides that, I also found out that it will be
essential for English teachers to encourage the use of English among students.
Some of the students may just need a little guideline or explanations to
incorporate the use of English in their daily life. From the camp, I discovered
that some students will start to use English in their conversation after they
were encouraged by me.
Finally, I would like to thank to all of the facilitators
and committee who gave 100% commitment to this camp. It was a sweet and
memorable experience to join this camp and work together.
