Sinopsis/ Synopsis
The course emphasizes on the technique of using language games in the classrooms. Theoretical background of the technique will be discussed and students will participate in series of activities that lead to the discovery of learning points. They will also be assigned projects which require independent work and which provide practice on planning and facilitating language games. This course will equip students with the skill to teach English using games in classrooms and to conduct activities for basic communication workshops and English clubs in schools. As part of the asessment, students are required to organize language camps/workshops which will be conducted in schools.

The objectives of the course are :
i) to provide students with the ability to justify the use of language games in classrooms,
ii) to assist students in the production of training documents which can be used in schools,
iii) to train students with the skills to plan and facilitate language games to teach English, and
iv) to enable students to conduct activities for basic communication workshops and English clubs in school.
