reflection...

There are few things that need to be improved:
1. punctuality- apply for facilitators and participants
2. make full use of what we have prepared- use the participants manual and participants manual as a
    point    reference.
3.do not instruct but facilitate
4. facilitators are adviced not to join the activities conducted...=)
5. instructions and speech given should be loud, clear, simple and short with no grammatical error..

Lots of things to be highlighted!
1. the facilitators are energetic and friendly
2. the facilitators are helpful and support each other eventhough they are damn tired of hiking the hill
3. no conflict occur
4. the flow of activities is great. the participants follow the program well.
5. the riddles (especially fire hunter) are able to refresh  and boost the mood of the participants
6. the opening ceremony was quite well arranged until we went outside the seminar room. but things
improved on the next 2 days...!
7. the closing ceremony was well conducted. Gimic from "happening" facilitator.
8. the food is nice.. and no bad injuries...
9. the use of 'friend' to participants was a really good idea..

The fish are biting.

My reflection

First of all, I would like to make a statement…Language camp really helped my spoken language a lot. Most obviously, my error correction skill. Well, I was quite nervous at the beginning as my game was the first to go after talking in circles…I think the participants' expectation of the camp were high, I was somehow stressed trying to live up to their high hopes. But in the end, I managed to overcome my fear as the support and motivation given from all my friends were superb… You guys rock!! What I'm proud of the most is the continuity of our 'speaking English' routine. I see a lot of improvement/changes as we are really comfortable to talk in English outside the class now.

What did I get from this camp? A collection of new friends =) as I am staying in K9 (about two semesters already) I really enjoy my stay this semester. Here and there, I knew a lot of faces. I was a lone ranger in K9 before. Now I have new friends. (the best participant is just next door, the sultan is just in front of my room… the girl who jumped in sarong is in the same floor… a lot! We greet each other, some are still using English with me... I'm very impressed. A girl did ask me to help her in English while we were watching TV. I tried my best and it feels good when people see me differently now. In addition, the new collection of friends gave me a lot of opportunities in my college activities… the 'smack that'-best participant asked me to join her for K9 annual dinners' performance. I'm doing HIP HOP you guys!!!

The most important thing that I learnt throughout this camp is teamwork... accepting other people's differences. I'm a bad-tempered girl…but this time, we work things out perfectly…like what Mr G said, no catfight etc…In short, I learnt anger management too. Everybody showed so much effort in this camp, even if we missed a lot of things in between...I miss the fun we had. TESL the poser =P well, I know one thing, you guys are really camera maniacs!!!

That's all… I hope it's not just some crap…

My desperate contribution essay

First task as a secretary, I had to prepare the words from the director, to be put in the participants' manual. I did the writing with Fatin Nadia, the first secretary. I think we are somehow proud of it because the writing starts off with something we took from sociolinguistics article. It sounds extravagant. Hehe….The rest, a lot of copy pasting…

Not much work to do as the secretary, I just helped here and there… Firstly, I did some last editing to both participants and facilitators manual as the manuals were needed first thing in the morning…before the pakcik starts photocopying the one without the latest changes (given previously). Well, I stayed in K9…the nearest to the office…Nothing much to complain, I willingly helped Wani with that. I only sacrificed my sleep that night and learnt a little about operating a photocopy machine the next day =)

I drew the cartoon characters for the Last letter and Word Idol… I know it's not cute but I hope it's understandable…I think it was…

During the ice-breaking night, I ran here and there with Dayah…or should I say I rode here and there.. ( Dayah the rempit) to buy the cups to be used for the supper…. And the cups became an issue.. (Mr G, you keep repeating it eh =P ) Then, we had to go and find a shop to laminate Mr G's forgotten tag… rempit again... Unfortunately, we missed the facilitators' introduction. Sob..sob…

That night, my room was used as the headquarters…canteen...meeting room…storage room and etc…hahaha….my room smelled of nasi ayam all the night. Well, I was trusted to keep an eye of Aida's equipment and Ana's material…I contributed my lovely box to store the materials. Sorry for being a little fussy when I asked you guys to handle the box with care. I'm a little obsessive with my things… I brought a roller and a suitcase for you guys to carry heavy things. I cannot imagine Aida carrying the heavy PA system =P

During the language camp in Gunung Lambak, I co-facilitated the White Tulips group, with Fatin Nadia. I'm quite disappointed because I didn't get the chance and time to get to know them better. The night before, I was busy helping Dayah.

Helped them with the cheers…kept on repeating 'my hump' because none of them remembered!

I was the game master for Catch me If You Can. Thanks to all who helped me with the game…

After the Language Camp, I was asked to write a short report about the language camp for the faculty's bulletin. I guess. I wrote the report with Fatin Nadia. Thank you dearest partner…

I am the one who collect all the photos/videos taken during the language camp, from the facilitators and the participants… I managed to collect a handful... If you are interested, you can take the CDs from Jaja.

Overall, I helped here and there regardless to what I was supposed to do as a secretary. Everybody lent a hand in all activities. To those who supported and helped me during the language camp, thank you very much…

ELC 07': Reflection and Contributions

My small contributions:
by Fatin Nadia Fadzil (the 1st  Secretary)

  1. Helped Fatin Nuraini (our beloved director) to write the proposal. There was nothing much actually…just translated a few portion and put my signature on it.
  2. Prepared the words from director to be included in the participant manual.
  3. Edited the tag for both the participants and the facilitators. Girls, look at your photos…don't you think that they were perfectly edited?
  4. Prepared diagrams for the Battleship and Word Idol games to be included in the participant manual. Unfortunately, the Word Idol diagram was missing and it was replaced by Liyana's. The battleship one was available.
  5. Provided songs for Kak haida's slot (Talking in Circle)
  6. Recited the doa for the launching ceremony (god blessed us!!)
  7. Facilitated the White Tulip group. In term of encouraging them to communicate in English, I believe that I've done a good job. But, in providing them the English vocabulary.. I failed a little bit… (But I think, it was ok since we have another 14 linguistic experts around, rite??)
  8. Be the game master of Battleship and word Idol
  9. Wrote the report of the language camp together with Liyana (will be included in the faculty bulletin this month)
  10. Apart from all stated above, I believe our best and biggest contribution was to help and support each other throughout all the enjoyment and hardship of the camp. I personally want to thank every single person involved in the camp especially the 13 happy-go-lucky fc (Fatin, Liyana, Jaja, Awer, Pka, Pia, Dayah, Nad, Hanim, Wani, Ana, Aida, Kak Haida) and of course our beloved movie director, MR.G...thanks everyone…love you all
P/s: The most crucial contribution will be commenting our own thoughts & opinion…hehe…

Mirrror…mirror on the wall
(Reflection by Fatin Nadia Fadzil)

Frankly speaking, I've never loved camping. Perhaps, I just don't like socializing with new friends and do outdoor activities. But, organizing our ELC had changed my thoughts totally. Never that I've thought the camp would be extremely splendid and interesting. Perhaps because we had some crazy/ happening fc around (this goes to pia, awer and jaja). Anyway, I really need to thank all the 13 of you. Know what, I just can't show my tiredness when looking at all your passionate faces. I salute you guys for the ability of boosting up one's motivation. Overall, the camp was great. I'm sure, if all of us can improve our proficiency level, it will be even greater. Obviously, not only the participants gained benefits from this camp but so did us… I can see the pattern of we, speaking English more regularly, comfortably and confidently. What a good change!! Seems like all the objectives of the program were fully achieved. To Mr.G…next time, don't waste your time finding our weaknesses. There wasn't any (apart from the fact that our language is limited…hehe!!) I believe that there will be at least 14 A's from our Lang.Games in Classroom subject…(I suppose we all know who are the 14 lucky people, right??) k everyone…have a nice day…thank to all of you… let's dream in Englsih!!!

Hello there!

There's one thing I could say about this camp, IT ROCKS!! I mean everyone
enjoyed it very much including the facilitators. Before the camp, I was sure
that we will be exhausted by night since we don't have enough manpower. But
once we got there, exhaustion was out of our dictionary! We always work
together and nobody slacked out. What we did was "Our Work" and not "My
Work". We showed our true nature outdoors and simple to say, we managed to
overcome our weaknesses by sticking up for each other. To Camp B, I wish you
all good luck! Don't hesitate if you need any assistance from us.

Since almost everyone from camp A had showed off their contributions to the
camp, so lets get started with mine.

• I was in charged of the Equipments
• Took care of the equipments starting from listing them out, borrowing
them, bringing them to camp, make sure everything is there and in charged of
the maintenance (PA system)
• I was the instructor of fillers 'Simon says' and 'Fire, Hunter'
• I conducted the NIE 'We Are What We Are'
• I'm working with Fareza (Jaja) in taking videos of the camp.

There aren't many things I could single out since all I had help from my
dearest friends of camp A. We almost never had to work alone. When one was
working, there was always another working behind her and supporting her. So
my idea of the Greatest Contribution was when we were contributing it
together!
Thank you sooo much, you guys!!

---Aida---

contribution eh...

Contribution  eh...
To tell all of you about my contribution, there will be endless story…eheh ;)
1)      First of all, I'm in charge of the security of the camp.. With less of knowledge on rescuing or dealing with injured person, I bravely took the part and gave myself all out into it. For the first 24 hours, I did not have to show my talent in using the first aid. However, there was an accident occur during the musical paper slot which was on Sunday morning. The participant (I forgot her name but I do remember her face heh..) got scratched from the game and I with her help tended the wound.
2)      Secondly, I'm in charge for treasure hunt slot. Giving instruction was the main even because if there was a slight problem, then the entire participant will be confused. The best part was waiting for the entire group to arrive. Mr G and I had acted like the Amazing Race for the first and the last group arrived at the meeting point (huHUu…that was fun…). However, without the help from my beloved friends, the treasure hunt cannot be done. Thanks to all my friends because they be my chechpointers..love you girls..!
3)      What else? Well, I did helped others when they need my help but I don't remember who and what I did for them (it doesn't matter if they remember or not what I have done for them).
4)      Lastly, the most important task in the camp.. THE CAMERAMAN or should I say the cameragirl? I managed to capture all the happy moments as I could(hopefully all of it). Now, I'm waiting for all the pictures from others to compile and edit and come out with a cd..
Reflection on My Own Camp
What I like at the camp?
I like all the facilitators and the participant…and not to forget my beloved director and my lecturer as well. This is because without them I think I can't pull myself together to give all what I have to the camp. The best part was we had fun in all slots even though there were some problem occurred. Still, we managed to solve all the problems.
What I prefer not to happen in the camp?
The food of course…it is hard to describe the food but all together…the food     was tuuuuuuttttttttttt….eheh or terrible? Plus, some of us missed lunch             because there was no food left for them (T_T)..
Other than that, hopefully there will be no more language camp in a resort that     have hills that all the facilitators and participants need to climb up everyday...
There are a lot of things that can be adjusted in order to get a smooth well-managed camp. Well, we learn from our mistakes and it can be use for our future probably. So, thanks to the camp that helps me a lot in improving my English especially in communication.

my own thought, feeling and view...

Finally the camp is already over. muahahaha..... but the 14 of us are really happy with the camp because we think that this camp is successfully achieved its objectives to encourage the participant to use English and learn English in a fun way.. cheewahh…Although we are really tired but after we got a good respond from the participants we know that all our hard works are paid off. But of course there are weak spots here and there but I think that it does not give huge impact to the participants and the facilitators as well because all of us really having fun there. (rite girls??)
To all my "splendid and fabulous" friends, (Fatin Nuraini, Fatin Nadia, Liyana, Kak Haida, Sofea, Dayah, Pikah, Hanim, Awer,Wani, Nad, Jaja & Aida) it is an honour for me to get a chance to work with 13 of you girls and thank you because always giving your fullest energy and making this camp so joyful and free of conflicts.. (":") and I believed that all of you also shared same opinion with me that we had form a remarkable and a best team ever for the ELC ..(cheewaahhh!!)

Things that I want to improve if only I have a chance to do it:
  1. make my slot (Poison Boxes) more enjoyable and fun
  2. spend more time with participants
  3. get into the pool with all the participants and facilitators… hehe…

My Show Off Story....

In the community, I'm in the Material Bureau. But, because there are only 14 of us, everyone tried very hard to help each other to settle all tasks for the camp (so sweet!!). So, I can say every one of us have done multipurpose job (from making the tea to doing the photocopyJ) to make sure this camp will be a successful one.

As I can remember, these are my contributions to the camp:
  1. First, I have to collect the list of materials for each game.
  2. Then, I bought the materials that cannot be provided by K9 and also other things that we need for the camp like Hi-8, decorations for closing ceremony, stamps , photocopy the handouts, and I also had to sent the soft copy of Megastructure to be develop.
  3. Before we departed to Kluang, I have to make sure all the materials are taken into the bus. The materials are store in the plastic bag according to the game.
  4. During the camp, I have to make sure all the materials are kept in the safe place and brought all the materials to the Astaka where we conducted our games and also to Astaka Budaya for Drama Presentation.
  5. For the game, I in charge of Poison Boxes, I'm also responsible for checkpoint no.10 for Treasure Hunt..(It's in the pool area but I did not even touched the water, what a waste..huhu…)
  6. After the camp is over, I have to return all the materials that belong to K9. hmmm….
  7. I'm also in charge of the stamps. I have to make sure the stamps are always there at the location of the game.
  8. Besides that, at night before we went to Kluang, I had prepared some fillers that can be useduring the camp. This is because of what happened in K9 during the welcoming session ( we are lost!! L). For instance, Fire Hunter, Fitness Break, Riddles, Crazy Counts and Auction… (I wish all the facilitators can also play Fire Hunter.. it must be fun and funny.. J)

Truly,madly,deeply…

hi guys....

English Language Camp?First thing I miss most is the facis. Even though I see them everyday during class, it was different then. Not totally but it is still different. The way we did things together, the way we solved things, the way we stayed up and worked together, the way we tolerate, the way we helped each other and of course the way we made the camp more livelier. Gosh!! i miss it so much!! When i sit down and look back at the camp, i realize that i have friends who care about each other. I have friends who love to help and hate to stand and do nothing. huhuhuhuhu.... luv u all!!
okay... next!! things that we could've better,,perhaps we should find another place where we dont have to pay to go into the swimming pool well, seriously, if we are going to organize another sweet and happening  camp, we need to search for suitable place (which dont need any kind of climbing) and we need to test and taste the food first! hahaha...just to make sure that we got delicious food at reasonable price..kan kawan-kawan?
I learnt a lot during the camp. I learnt how to react based on current situation and also to always have plan B for everything. Let me share something with you guys. I dont know whether you realized it or not but at the end of my game which was "we are the same", i was actually running out of similarities..huhuhu. i thought i've prepared enough but still it was not enough. When other participants and facilitators were having fun, my mind kept on thinking on how to find other similarities. I was stuck! I know there should not be any silent moment during my game. Hence, my last choice, I asked other participants and facis about things that could be used as similarities.it looked like i was asking their opinion but the truth is i was running out of any idea...huhuhuhu... i dont know if it was obvious that time..hopefully not...hahahaha

PRECIOUS REFLECTION

"I have never experienced running a program more fun than ELC '07"

That is the best sentence to describe my experience conducting ELC '07. In my life, I have run many programs, some of them even bigger. But, believe it or not, the program we have run this time is different, precious, and special. There are few things that make me feel proud and impressed by myself. Firstly, it is about the cooperation among all the facilitators. This fact is very obvious. All fourteen buddies working together like a new-born family. Yes, problems always occur. But, we were able to solve every single problem to its root… until we finally had no fear towards problems anymore… so strongly stand like KLCC buildings. Secondly, I am so impressed about the super powerful spirit that lies in every facilitator's deepest soul throughout the camp. We were all excited in pursuing the success of the camp. All the spirit and corporation shown are the most precious asset. Thinking of ELC '07 reminds me of the strong love that links us all together. ELC '07 is such a beautiful memory to me and all my buddies too, I'm sure. Kisses from me to all my buddies and to our one and only Mr.G too. Muaks! Muaks!

CONTRIBUTION... a precious one!

MY PRECIOUS CONTRIBUTION TOWARDS ELC 2007

I was in-charged for LODGING. Fortunately, my job had been taken over by K9. I wasn't sure why did they do so. Perhaps they weren't confident enough towards me? But trust me… they missed to see my capability.

I conducted 'Familiar Tune' slot. Preliminarily, I needed to create one example of cheer accompanied with cute movements which later on was used proudly by all facis to show our group spirit.

Also, I'd invented The Camp Cheer to capture the spirit of the whole camp, not just among group mates. Guess what, it helped when it came to 'silent moment' especially at that night at K9 before we departed.

Here comes the best part! I was the emcee for the whole ELC2007, whether in informal or formal ceremonies, starting from the night at K9. Hanim was my MC partner. It was me who stood on the stage surrounded by candles handling the Drama Presentation while it blacked out. Undeniably, it was happening. Right, frens? A friend of mine (one of the participants) came n said to me "Sophia, you're born to be an English-speaking MC!". I took that as a compliment. Heheh…

For the closing ceremony, once again, I (with Hanim) was the MC. We handled the event in our special style. Thanks to Mr.G for the 'nominees' ideas. So I planned it to be like The Grammy Award like having the results of winners in envelopes. Thanks to Jaja for the cool gimmick. It was happening too. Right girls?

Other contributions (but still precious):
- Scooping food for all the participants
- Running up and down the hill at night with 3 other friends looking for Kak Pah's handbag
- Suggesting and providing the lyrics 'That Thing You Do' for Dayah's slot

 We made it, frens! Thanx...

contribution to elc'07

MY CONTRIBUTION TO ELC '07
Since everybody is showing off with their contribution to the camp, I am going to do the same. Well, let's not call it as a "show off". I prefer to call it 'fly your own kite'(sounds down to earth, isn't?)haha=p  .I think I'm not going to over-do it. Showing off is not good for your health anyway. ahaks!Okay, here are some of my contribution to the camp
  • I was not involved directly with the t-shirt matter but since I have a car, I did helped pka to collect the t-shirt from the factory. Small contribution but it means a lot. hehe..
·        Again, because of the car, I was able to help anim and ana to buy the materials as well as the souvenirs at Tmn U.
·        Other than that, because of the language camp, I had a chance to be the 'photostat girl'.(a chance for me to practice since I planned to work at the photostat shop soon.haha).The story is like this: Me, awer, ana and wani went to K9 to complete the manuals. Since Pn Hanim know me(because I am in her ko-q lass), she asked me to photostat the manuals and the handouts myself. Actually, it was fun playing with the photostat machine!=p
·        During the camp, I think I was the audio girl. This was not my original job actually but since we were all busy with our own tasks, it's not a big deal to help others, right?
·        I was assigned to handle the 'musical paper' during the camp. Although there were a small injury during the game, it was kind of fun I think. I also handled the closing ceremony which I think was smooth.
·        Moreover, the 'word idol' game was the idea from my group .(anim & awer). The 'waiter' game was also our idea but it was replaced by the 'megastructure'.Proud huh?
·        I was also assigned to be at the check point at the parking lot.You know what?my checkpoint was the farthest and the most isolated checkpoint compared to others. I was so bored there!Luckily there were some guys who passed by at my place so I had the chance to enjoy the "beautiful scenery".ahaks!I did the tongue-twister with the participants at the checkpoint and the participants enjoyed it.
·        Another things that I did was collecting the room keys before we departed to UTM with pka.BUT Pka didn't remember me!huhu..
Ok.I think I fly my kite high enough. Its not the matter of contribution here but the memories that counts..(",) –NAD-

REFLECTION OF ELC '07
At first, before we started the work-phase of the language camp, what I thought was: "owh..another language camp..How is it going to be?" Throughout the time, I learned a lot actually. Although I have been involved in a lot of programs before, this camp was really different. Maybe, it was because we the facilitators (14 of us) have already known each other and we did have chemistry among us. Can you imagine working with 14 crazy, enthusiastic, happy-go-lucky and hardworking people without quarrelling at all? This is amazing I think. Mr G said that he was hoping for a quarrel but so sorry Mr G, your wish did not come true. huhuu.. From the camp, I learned how to control my emotion, how to deal with 'difficult' people and as my friend said, I learn to improvise things. Again, the keyword here is 'improvise'. Other than that, I think that this camp gave a chance for us to create a new bond with new people i.e. the participants as well as strengthen existing bond among me and my friends. I did not look at the participant as a participant, but it is more to friends. Besides, same as the participants,we the facis also improved our English. Both of us got the same advantage. Overall, this camp is the sweetest memory that I have during my study and I really hope that we can work together again.(",) -NAD-

A SPECIAL MENTION OR AN HONOURABLE MENTION ?

  • Busy bee: I think that I was one of the busiest person before the language camp and so does everyone. But, I didn't have my mid-term break that 1 whole week. This is because I was too busy completing the manuals for a perfect booklet for the participants. Me and wani keep on editing and correcting things to make it as perfect as possible. Since I was in the participants' manual bureau, so this was obviously my contribution.
  • Happy hour (happy awer?hehe): I was trying to spice up the camp-which of course I did it unconsciously! If I and the other facilitators didn't try to add some flava(flavour.eheh!) to the camp, then the camp would definitely turned into a man without a soul. Well, I guess, my natural 'talent' really helped me a lot. ;-) You get what I mean, don't you?
  • A helping hand: I was well aware that there is a shortage of workforce in our committee. So, being an extra hand and 'brain' was one of it too.
  • Games: Me, Wani and Mr. G, had came up with the mega structure game. But I was just a minor contributor to it. Nevertheless, I conducted 2 games: The Last Letter and the Mega Structure. In fact, my group suggested the Word Idol and The Waiter. Isn't that a big contribution?ahaks!
  • More?: what else I can say about my contribution? Me and the others had contributed in our different ways. So, sometimes we are not aware of the contributions that we had gave…and there are things that you don't have to show it to the world because you did it with all your heart..mm…

THUS, THE SPECIAL MENTION GOES TO ALL THE FACIs IN CAMP A AND THE HONOURABLE MENTION FOR Mr. G (get another 1 other than 'kiri'.huh?hehe) CONGRATS!!

MY MAGIC MIRROR

I'm sorry.. but if we had the chance to say more in the past post-mortem, then my essay won't be this long…if you agree with me please sit down! ha..i know you do.hehe. Pardon me Mr. G..heheh. 'Desperate situation calls for desperate measures' –Anonymous. Have you guys ever heard of it? Well, that's what you'll encounter in a camp like this. The keyword is 'IMPROVISE'! Always come up with a plan B. I really enjoyed the camp. We had so much fun. In fact, we had too many of it!hehe. Maybe this is because of the camp is all about girls…plus a man?(Mr. G)hehe. I can get to do what I want to do. Have fun! Before the camp, I was trying to be such a perfectionist, because of the marks we'll get depend on the success of this camp. But when I was in the real camp, I totally forgot about the marks. I think that was why I enjoyed too much. But forgetting about the marks really keeps you away from the pressure. I mean it! In addition, I don't feel any gap with the participants at all, I just treated them like friends, just like what I felt towards them. I like that! I love to work with the facis again. It's really a superb team spirit we got there guys! Proud of you guys! We were able to make this camp a success regardless the problems we had on the budget, the workforce, the time to prepare, etc. I can't get enough of talking here …huhuUu! Wish to have more camps with you guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!and you to.. sir G..

My Contribution to the ELC ‘07

Reflection on ELC '07

Alhamdulillah… ELC '07 has over. Too many sweet memories to be shared with my fellow friends. My heartfelt thanks goes to all of you for making this event the marked history in my life.

I have been working in a lot of organization before this. However, this is my first time working with a crew full with energy and enthusiastic people. Never during the camp had I felt the energy is decreasing. You girls are a bunch of bubbly and bouncy individuals. I felt proud to be given the opportunity to be on this team. I can never successfully delivered my task without the help from each and every one of you.

What I have learned the most from this camp is how to compose myself when any unexpected thing happened. I learned how to calm myself and this is new (you can ask my beloved roommate…huhu…).

Apart from that, I also learned that every decision I made should be informed to other facilitators since I am working with a team. This is to avoid any confusion and misunderstanding of plans (Fatin - this was what happened on the last day of the camp. I was shocked till I can't explained to you what happened).

Last but not least, I have only one regret – I wished I had enough time to build  good rapport with the participants. Luckily, during Last Letter game, I had that extra few minutes to have a chat with them and I managed to exchange ideas on how to learn English. I also found out that the biggest problem they had was not because of lack of interest in English but they did not have the opportunity to practice the language.

** Something to share with you guys: - A week after language camp I received a text message from one of the participants. She said that she just had a presentation in English and she can present better compared to before she went to language camp. How about that guys?... Feel good?... I do...

My Contribution to the ELC ‘07

My Contribution to the ELC '07
It is very difficult to claim that these were my contributions alone. It is because everything that I managed to settle is with the help from my fellow friends. Here are my small pieces of contribution. I have divided it into 3 parts-before, during and after the language camp.

BEFORE:
  1. Getting all of the game manuals from every game master.
  2. Compiling all of the game manuals.
  3. Editing the facilitators' manual according to the example from the previous language camp.
  4. Submitting it to Mr. G for editing.
  5. Re-editing the facilitators' manual.
  6. Printing out the master copy of the manual twice with the help from Liyana and the gang.
  7. Submitting the master copy to K9 for publication purposes.
  8. Working out a substitute game for the waiter. It was later named as 'Megastructure'.
  9. Preparing wording for the drama presentation and closing ceremony events. The wording was used as a backdrop of the stage.
  10. Working out a game for group division with Kak Haida at the very last minute.
  11. Preparing all the forms to be used during drama presentation with the help from my team – Kak Nora and Azra.

DURING:
1.     Carrying out group division activity on the first day.
2.     Briefing on drama preparation and presentation on first and second day.
3.     Responsible to be on guard for Checkpoint 1 during Treasure Hunt at the playground (really had fun torturing the participants by asking them to sing me a song).
4.     Making sure I get to participate in every game until Mr. G stopped us to do so since it was for the participants to play after all (huh…).

AFTER:
1.     Just received an order from Mr. G to prepare a statistic based on the evaluation forms AND present it. (huhhu…)

my show-off essay...

Olla everyone!!!

First thing first…Mr.G, I think 200 words are not enough for us to show off our contribution  Right friends?

1.      I was the treasurer for Camp A. However, I collected money for shirt from both camps, A and B. But it fell good to see a big amount of money in my account even for a whileOnly after I've collected all the money, I gave the money from Camp B committee to K'hajar(treasurer for camp B). I was also in-charged for money claimed for the mini camp that we had at ktf.

2.      Wiihaaa!! Since camp A got problems with shirts because of the last minute cancellation, I was in a hectic situation the week before the camp. Well, 4 days before actually. I went to almost all printing shops in Taman U but their answer was "takde stok la dik.kilang belum bukak lagi.cuti raye cine"  Luckily, K9 suggested 1 factory and they were able to do all the printing stuffs and our shirts were ready on Friday afternoon. Thanks to the transportation department (Nad,K'nora) and friends (K'hajar,F'nuraini,Anim,Ana)

3.      I helped Wani and Awer did the editing for manual (don't remember which manual) late at night because they just knew about the example of previous camp manual a day before they supposedly sent the manual for printing. Awe,Wani, that was all I can help. Sorry guys!

4.      I brought my laptop to Mt. Lambak by putting aside the high risk of losing my precious and expensive laptop.

5.      My game was 'We are the same'. My friends said my game was good. No silly mistake I guess. I believe I've conducted the game successfully and made the game more enjoyable.

6.      Hah! I was also responsible in collecting and returning all the keys during check-out time. A last minute task but that was easy (except for the Kak Pah's case)I did it with…erm..don't remember with whom... ish!ish!

7.      This one is important..Do you guys know about that 'roti bakar' thing? Let me explain. That night, after we did and taught the participants our cheer, suddenly that 'roti bakar' thing arose. K9 planned to stop at a railway station to eat 'roti bakar' on our way to Mt.Lambak. Imagine what will happen if they actually did that? We'll arrive late and we'll be running out of time to conduct our game. Therefore, I, with my serious and seems-to-eat-people look, firmly and strictly said to Ell to cancel the plan. We had a serious discussion (maybe some sort of argument without rising my voice) that night. F'Nuraini was quite worried with my seriousness I think. Sorry fatin! Well, I am serious when I think I should be serious. Hence, for that 'roti bakar' thing, thanks to me! Kahkahkah!

p/s- Mr.G, sorry for exceeding your word limit. I've tried my best to make it short but the thing is, I like to show off

to my beloved friends, please comment on this
