hi
what do i expect to gain from the language camp???. oh...emmm ahh.eh of course as the others i expect a good gred and some interesting experiences. i really hope that i will enjoy the camp. anyway it is difficult for me to figure out what to be expected because this is the first language camp that i'm going to join hope it will be interesting to teach the primary school students. anyway in my opinion i think that the contribution that i can give for the success of the camp is more important than what i can gain from it. hope we can prepare excellent and effective games that will benefit the students. i will be happy if the students gain something from the camp. hopefully they will learn something from the us. that 's all i think. bye.

I expect i will get a lot of experiences in training students especially in primary school. For that reason, i also hope that the activity conducted by Laguage Games class will be interesting and really happening so that students will enjoy the activity and they will interested to come again later on. The interesting activity will reflect student's interest in English. Besides that, the activity conducted by us will also participated by teachers in that school. so, the teacher will see other ways to enhance student's attention to learn English as well.

Moreover, hopefully all activities will run smoothly and in enjoyful way. Responsible from many participants are needed. And the important thing is the cost of language camp itself must and should be enough so that we will come out with the very interesting activity. Money is the king in this world right?Hopefully all participant will give a very strong commitment and cooperation in order to come out with an interesting activity.

what do you expect to gain from the language camp?

well.. well.. welll.. what can i said.. im a bit blur.. for this moment.. after a hard work.. helping my friend.. huh.. my opinion about language camp?? well for me myself. as a TESL students.. and also have to be a teacher coz i'm stuck with KPM.. (me?? teacher??harharhar.. ) i think there's a lot thing we can gain from the language camp.. well i already have experience conducting a language camp before.. goshhhhhhhh.. i really love and miss them all.. the experienced was really great.. and i can't forget about it.. when conducting a language games you can develop yourself to be a really really good teacher.. and it was fun.. coz we dealing with students who are really hard wanted to learn and know english better.. Language camp.. is a camp that we teach them to make learning fun.. enjoyable.. n not boring... coz we actually teach them a new way of teaching.. and a new way of learning.. it's not like an old teaching.. whereby.. teacher.. just read a passage from a text book.. then asks students to read it.. and gives exercise.. what a heck huh...here in language camp.. lot of things we can teach them.. make the learning session fun.. singing along with them.. play with them.. and so on.. and conducting a language camp is not a easy.. we all have to work hard.. discuss together-gether... choice games for the language games... pendek kata helping each other a lot lah..that's all from me.. still blur.. harharhar
hi buddies....

well, this is my first time and experience from the language game class. and this is my first time that i have to conduct the language camp...quite challenging haa....my expectation????...well, at the first place i thought it quite hard to control primary students, but at the same time i like children...i have to motivate myself when i have to conduct class and trully, games that we have to play are not simple as we teach a syllabus. this is a new experience to me and it makes me enjoy to participate. negotiate and cooperate with other people or friends is one way for me to improve my English and I can apply it in the real situation. cooperation is important as well as we can get others ideas and therefore i can collect various games from my friends to be applied in the future...
it is quite challenging for me because i have to teach and conduct primary students...however it can give me some knowledge on how to conduct them...of course it is not the same that we have to teach secondary school right. simple instruction and simple words have to be used in order to make the students understand of what i'm going to say. that is why i have to prepare myself on how to talk with people in different level. other than that, i manage to prepare all the materials as well as needed in the language camp. this is the way on how i have to be creative in order to make the materials. language camp enable to give some ideas on how to teach English in fun way. as we know that English subject quite bored if teacher is using an ordinary way of teaching but with this way, i think it would make the children enjoy...and also for the teacher as well as future teacher like me...that could make me applied all the lessons and games in the future teaching. thats all from my expectation....be creative and energatic teacher...yehhh!!!
A language camp? as for myself, i hope to gain new experience teaching young children and i know that it will be fun. I belive that when we use games in language teaching, it will benefits the students more and it will motivates them in learning English.
English is fun! plus, they will use the language in a real context and this will enhance their language as well. i hope that through games, the children will learn language not only from the toturs but also from their friends. this programme will open a lot of opportunity for me to learn new things and discover new way of teaching which i can use what i'll learn in the language camp to teach my students in the future.I also hope in this programme, i can put all my knowledge on teaching techniques into practice and also learn new stuff from my friends and lecturer too. i would really like to try new games on language class and see whether it helps both teacher and students or not. I know it will.
I hope that all my classmates will put our hands together to make this programme a success.I believe that i have a wonderful and creative people around me to work with and we will do our best to make this programme great and memorable ones.
since i've never been to any camp before,so i'm not really sure about the situation there.but from my friends who have been there before,it sounds so interesting.
so,first of all, i expect that our lesson plan will be accepted to be teach at the language camp.just joking.
i expect that the language camp will give me the memorable that i'll never forget because i'll go to teach at the school with some of my friends.if we're going to practical, there's just a friend who is going to be the partner.but with many of the classmates around, the activity will be going more fun.
furthermore, i hope to get an experience in teaching the primary school children.because we have to teach the secondary school soon.so, i can compare the behaviour among those children in primary school with the student in secondary school.because now is a technology area,so the behaviour among them was unexpected.
regarding to the lesson that will be conducted, i hope the fun lesson will make the students happy to learn english.as we know, english is a boring subject to them.with this approach,we can encourage them to learn english frequently.

teach the secondary school soon.i like the children
Hi friends. I have actually learnt about language games when i was in my 2nd year. I really enjoy it.I hope to gain a lot of things from language games . Widen my knowledge through language games can be used to implement in my teaching. I can use all the games that have been taught in the language game class to teach my students in the future. Besides that, i hope that this language games can make all the students to be more co-operative when they work together. On other hand, i hope that there will be different kinds of games that really can test the students IQ . Games that are appropriate with students level also can help them completely involve in that games. I hope that i will gain a lot of informations and knowledge on how to conduct a language games classroom activity . This will help me to conduct an interesting and enjoyable activity in the classroom.
dear friends,
i have a great expectation about the language camp that i am gonna involve in future time. my first and foremost expectation is that the language camp will help me to learn english in a fun way. meaning that, besides having fun with friends and teachers that involved in the camp, i hope to learn something precious about english. on the other hand, i hope that the language camp will teach me how to work in groups, being co-operative and also tolerance. last but not least is that the language camp will bring out my inner potential and capability that no one knows before.
hemm, what do i expect from the language camp? well, the answers is experiance and confidence. i want to gain as many experiances as i could before i left UTM. i really need a lot of experiance in handling lesson and mingling with students. so, language camp is one of the way to gain it. therefore, i really hope that Mr. G could guide me to gain my expectation. by the way, i also expect that this language camp will be more enjoyful compare with the language camp that i have ever involved. well, thats all. for myself and for the community i think language camp is such kind of community service.
What are my expectations from the language camp?

I wish that the students will be able to benifit greatly from the language camp. Besides that I myself hope to be able to gain some personal experience from this camp. First of all the students will have to be able to enjoy and to be motivated by the whole experience. How will a teacher be able to motivate the students from this camp? This will be the key theme to the camp. The reason of learning must first come from the interest of the sstudents.
The topic chosen must suitable to the learners' level as to give them the joy of learning and understanding. the learning level should be about a level higher than their capabilities to ensure that the learning process is achieved.
This camp should be able to allow students to use the language freely without any restriction. The joy of communicating with others will be the main priority. The students will learn better if they are left to use the language in a less strict environment.
i hope to do my best for this gameplan for a few reasons. first and foremost, to gain mark and secondly is to help the students and change their perceptions towards English language. i want them to think positively and never hesitate to use English. i hope the metarials used will also help them and not just to waste our time preparing them. i want to be able to test my "patient-skill" with the children. but i suppose they are all alright and not as "well behaved" as the adults. but above all these, i wish to be happy and not so much hassle during the camping time.
i think what can be expected from the camp would be memorable experience in teaching, and more knowledge in using games for learning activities. but most probably many of us will gain enjoyment and satisfaction in being able to carry out a successful lesson. i hope by going to this camp we will learn some new insight due to the authentic environment we are in, and equipped with the facilities to carry out the learning.
basically the biggest that we might expect here is a totally new style of teaching, since we are new to this course, and we have not applied much creative game in our lesson. the camp would also reveal the teaching to a different learners' needs since they are primary and not secondary students.
what's up

OLA OLA....
Assalamualaikum.. yeeha..i'm here..hey guys..look on Mr G's big screen...can you all see my message..wave to me then..hahahahhaa
Assalamualaikum...
After troubling all the people around me (Zarim, Mr. Ghazali, Banchee, Mone and etc) and sweating all over, I was finally signed in. What a mess! May be I was not born to work with something related to computer and technology. So thank you for everyone and sorry too. :)
What do I expect from language camp? There will be a long list for that. As the coming language camp is not new to me since I've already join it for three times already, I think that language camp will do me a lot. Of course I would like this coming Language camp to give what it fails to give me before or rather to supplement what I already have.
I really hope that langauge camp will help me first and foremost to improve my English as I am going to be an English teacher. Eventhough I am in TESL course I wasn't like all my collegues, my English is not up to their level. So I need a platform for me to find a way to upgrade myself just like a computer. Then, I hope that this language camp will put instill a feel of confindence in myself to face students and may be other teachers and people. I want to be seen as someone who has an outstanding personal and public relation skill, just know how to talk and when to stop. So may be through this camp, I shall be exposed to the things since I will be dealing with a few lecturers (may be), teachers, headmaster, students and even my own classmates.
After that I do hope that it will give me some exposure on how to handle a camp, especially language camp, so that may be I could implement it at my school some time in the future. And also to introduce me to the world of students and teachers, learning and teaching and school!!! .
I also expect that it will give me some tips for me to face the real world of teaching. We will have children as our participants so may be I can use them as some kind of sample to have me teaching them English through games (What am I talking about, hope you guys do understand). To know a lot of ways of teaching English so that my English class would not be so gloom and doom (Hope so). There is a lot of ways to teach English, we are not going to teach using traditional way anymore in this virtual world, students may be bored and will lose their interest to learn. So languge camp may offer me a variety of ways to make learning English fun and enjoyable.
ANd my last wish is that it will be like we plan and may I have all the things that I wish from it. It's a good activity and i think I am very very lucky to be a part of it before. Now, I am offering myself again to do it, may it be better and may it give benefits to all. It 's kind of expensive experience to me and I appreciate it and learn a lot from it.
Hope to learn more from this coming language camp. Adios...

hello everybody...
i thought we don't have to write anything until we come back from our language camp for the reports...but Mr.G asked us to write our expectation from the language camp...
well...what do i expect.?..as usual i expect i would have fun and enjoyable moment working with my friends and the students who will be joining the camp...and i also expect that i would be a good motivated facilitator to the students.
language camp...emmm...hah...when we talk about language camp of course we'll be thinking about the games we are going to play...and hey...i'm looking forward for any new games that i'll play with my friends and the students. a happy moment of knowing new games...i bet it will be very enjoyable for us...learning english through games...sounds cool to me...and maybe we could apply the games when we go for teaching.
gaining new knowledge, getting to know our friends more and collecting experiences are what i'll be expecting for the camp...and i believe we all will get what we are expecting if everybody is giving a good cooperation for the project.
so friends...good luck hope we'll enjoy the camp...
p/s: did i mention that i'll be expecting a good mark from Mr.G from the language camp?
thank you
Question : What do you expect to gain from the language camp? ( at least 100 words )
Answer :
Hmmm I think that this language camp is gonna be a reflection of the cooperation and effort put in by the whole class. I mean, the mixture of ideas and creativity that blends together is just going to make this an awesome camp. Basically, we all expect to gain some experience from this camp as we will be handling and planning and carrying it out. So that would give us a rough idea, if not a thorough one, about how a language camp functions or works. Maybe we might bang heads on certain issues, or maybe when we cannot reach a certain decision. It wont be easy, I'm not saying that, but i believe all of us will be matured enough to handle it and deal with it in a matured way :) That in itself is a lesson to, and experience. :) What else? Hmmmm... I would expect gain of knowledge too, I mean, since this is a language camp, i guess i can polish up my language :) There's always room for improvement that's what my dad always says. He also says that life is a journey of knowledge, that learning is a never dying phenomenon, and i agree with him. That's why I expect to learn new things about the language from this camp, no matter in which area. :) Besides that, I would expect LOTS OF FUN!!!! I mean, language IS fun, and if a camp isnt fun, what kinda camp is that? concentration camp? And besides, we are gonna be having lots of games and challenges and i really think this camp is going to be very enjoyable :) Wooo Hoooooooo!!!!!!!!
hi, mangy here. i have just joined the blogger and err.. hope to have fun here..
Gosh...i never really have any close encounter with children, maybe the are too mischevious i guess. Well, this will be best time for me to get in touch with them. In this camp, i wish to see more students enjoying themselves while learning at the same time. Children learn best through playing, according to some child education expertise. and i believe this is the best time in implementing a new language learning stratergies. At the same time, this camp may also encourage and motivate more passive (due to shyness...) children in learning language in a memorable, fun and interesting ways. Children are expected to carry out their own responsibilities in the tasks assigned to them through the camp's activities.
ooops, i haven't start any works regarding language camp. how to work if we ourselves do not know what to do. haa
i've just entered blogger. See you guys........
hmm...the coming language camp will the first one in my whole life of 21 years. what are my expectations? first of all, i pray for patience success in preparing for this camp and i hope i will not end up straggling mischevious and stubborn students. on the other hand, as a future teacher, i certainly hope to come out with more interesting and educational games for students. as little patience as i have, i do want to be a good teacher. it is through this camp, i hope to learn from my peers' teachings and experiences in order to better myself. i also wish that students will be cooperative and will take english as something more than a boring subject. i guess it;s up to us now to change their mindset on this notion.
My roomate did this language camp thing last semester so i had a second hand experience of what it felt like being involoved in the preparation for a camp.
A language camp is basically a place for kids to get together and improve their English while having lots of fun. This will be what we are aiming and working towards while preparing the camp.
I foresee that a stack of duties and tasks will be waiting to be performed in preparing for this project. I expect evreyone to be involved and the responsibilities divided fairly and equally among everyone. I think a strong relationship will have to be built among one another in order to make this camp a success.
A majority of us have no experience in planning a camp like this, but nonetheless, TESLians are known to perform miracles and with the guidance of En. Ghazali, i am sure it will turn out all rite.
I expect to gain a lot from this camp. the first and most important thing would be the experience of handling and managing a large group of students. The next thing, is to learn what sort of games should be prepared for a specific group of children.
I hope i will learn more about working in a large group for it is seldom we get an oppurtunity to work in a group of 20 ppl or so. Besides that, time management would come in handy as many of us are very much tied up with our PSM.
I think i will find out that i have learnt and experienced more than i can start to fathom now after the camp.
hopefully, things will turn out ok, and everyone would have had fun.
Most of all, i hope the children would have benefitted by the end of the camp, and would view the English Language from a more positive point of view.
Today I'm gonna train the teslians on how to blog.
