After the language
camp, we were physically tired but mentally, I believe that all of us felt
grateful because the language camp was generally successful. Though there were
some mistakes but it was a great experience to make us a better teacher-to-be.
In fact, there was
something to reflect upon. From the aspect of organization, we need to assign
some facilitators to be in-charge of the cleanliness, students’ discipline,
venue, food and beverages, materials, protocol and also prizes and
certificates. Most importantly, we need a person to be the coordinator of the day
to ensure that the flow of the language camp goes well.
Looking from teaching
and learning perspective, I should have minded my grammatical errors whenever I
spoke to the students. Though the accuracy of grammar is not emphasized in
speech, but I think I need to be a role model to the students. Besides, if I
were to do the games again, I think I will try out all the games once before
the language camp starts. This is to ensure that all of the games can be
conducted in an organized manner. Last but not least, I agreed with Mr. Ghazali
that we need to have some creative games in our mind so that it can be used to
freshen up the students when they start to feel bored and tired to participate
in the activities.

Ya, even though it's a bit tiring but we learn something from students as well.
