1.      Objectives :
a)       To get the students to know each other.
b)      To let the students practice simple sentences while introducing themselves to others.
c)       To gain confidence in using English in simple conversations.
2.      Level : Intermediate
3.      Language :
a)      Speaking skills
b)      Listening skills
4.      Duration : 15 minutes
5.      Materials :
a)      Pen
b)      A4 paper
6.      Procedure:
a)      Briefing
                                                        i.            Students are asked to sit with their schoolmate.
ii.            Facilitator will distribute 1 envelope per school. Inside the envelope, there are 20 pieces of papers. Each school will get 1 envelope and inside are names of characters. E.g: Ironman, Superman, Hulk, etc.
iii.            Students need to form a group of 10 consisting of different characters per group. There will be no students with the same school in each team. Eg: each team will only have one Ironman, one Superman, and one Hulk.
iv.            Then, the students will follow their respective facilitators.
                                                      v.            The facilitator will then explain the rules of the games to the students
·         Students are needed to ask these three questions:
1.      What is your name?
2.      Which school are you from?
3.      What is your hobby/what do you like to do?
·         Students will also need to answer questions given by their partner.
b)      Demo
                                                        i.            The facilitator asks the questions to one of the students randomly.
ii.            The facilitator asks if there is any problem or things that unclear about the game.

c)      Playing the game
                                                        i.            Students are asked to line up in one straight line.
ii.            One student will face his/her partner at the front of the line. Then, after asking the three questions and questioning his/her partner, he/she will move to the next person.
iii.            Then, the next person will follow the lead of the first person. They will start rotating around themselves until they have introduced themselves to all of the group members.
iv.            When the duration of the activity ends, the students return to their seats and take out a piece of paper and divide it into three columns.
                                                      v.            The first column is labelled ‘Name’, the second column is labelled ‘School’, and the third column ‘Hobby/Interest’.
vi.            Then the students will list out all the friends’ names and the details on a piece of paper.
vii.            Some of the students will be picked randomly to share the information they get.

d)     Debriefing
                                                        i.            The facilitator asks the students randomly what they think about the activity and what have they learnt from the game.
ii.            The students respond to the questions.

7.      Variation.
a)      Instead of having the students wandering around the room and get their own partner to introduce themselves, the activity can be done in circles: inner and outer circles. Students in inner circle will rotate while the outer circle will stay at their place.
The students can choose one of their friends with the most unique hobby/interest and introduce him/her in front of the class instead of writing it on a piece of paper.
