report on the second day of language camp (3/2/2002)
the second day was much tiring than the first day. and one more thing, the facilitators proved to be less enthusiastic than the students themselves, where the kids woke up as early as 4.30 am. us? we were sleeping like log till around 7. well, that's my case anyway. but let's move to the activity.
as usual, the students were gathered in groups. we were doing a task where each group come up with their own song, and ours were an individualized version of 'jingle bells'. anyway, after the singing session, we all went for breakfast. then we moved to another game, where we did it at the class again, the same one like yesterday. after that one more major activity was done, and it was the drama. we were given time to practice the lines we've gotten yesterday. the next activity included the presentation of the dramas, and this were judged by three teachers. now we move on to preparing for the closing ceremony while they calculate the marks. during the event, prizes were given to winners in groups or individually. the day ended fast where the students were rushing to get back. we only managed to divide the prizes and say a quick goodbye to our group members. then we got ready to go back and pack our things. the bus came and we took our last glance at the school.
