.Post-Mortem for the Two Camps

Date : 28 January 2003
Time : 11.00 am
Venue : C15 202
Attendance : Mr Ghazali and 20 students (Shahrizam was absent)
Agenda : 1) payment for the red flaming jersey
2) post- mortem session

1. Payment for the red jersey
-Mr G reminded the students to pay Rm 15 for the jersey to Noraishah.
-Aishah told the class that only one person did pay for the red jersey and she was Farah.

2. Post-mortem
Mr G asked for differences between the two camps, problems encountered by the facilitators and suggestions for future camps.
1. Yang Wan Ling- unconduciveness of the hall at the West Aping Hill as the participants had their meals and activities at the same place. Apart from that, at the 2nd camp, the Felda people served food using polystyrene containers that was not good for reducing pollutions. She concluded that the first camp was better compared to the first one. Apart from that, she suggested that we should provide gifts for all students not only for the best one.
2. Susanna Dalton Doel- The first camp was better in a way of students' management and the environment there.
3. Alariece Christynne Tay- She thought that students at the second camp were better as they were more active and did response better than the participants of the first camp.
4. Masnizah Mohd Ramli- problems with lodging at the second camp and there were even not enough classrooms during the second camp.
5. Nurul Atiqah Ahmad-hated the idea of took off shoes before entering the hall during the second camp.
6. Wong Yee Fen- asked for suggestion from Mr G on how to provide the more conducive hall for the students. Mr G did reply that actually he preferred the West Aping Hill's stage because there were two entrances.
7. Aida Jasni- she thought that for all rounder, Tenggaroh 4 was better.
8. Yeo Li Min- stressed on equality while treating the students and did mention about one of the facilitator who did show much concern to one particular participant. Mr G interrupted that this might give good lesson to all the Teslians when they are becoming teachers later; equal attention to students.
9. Gan Ek Hern- suggested the same idea proposed by Wan Ling regarding the gifts for all students.
10. Roslinda Shaharudin- suggested for uniformity among facilitators during the 3 days camp and she thought there is a need to provide the first aid kits for next camps.
11. Noraishah Mohamad Ali Kamil- apologized for the facilitators in the first camp as she did not distribute the materials for the games earlier. Apart from that, she did mention about lodging and she suggested that lodging for facilitators should be nearer to the activity place. She realized that the relationships between people from the first camp were friendlier compared to the second one.
12. Mr Ghazali- he enjoyed these two camps and did mention " these were livelier than the previous ones"…..He thought that for the drama presentation (he was the co-faci of Fighting Lion) he failed to give opportunity to good students.

Post-mortem ended at 12.10 pm.
