Altantuya claimed she would be killed by Razak, witness tells court

MONGOLIAN translator Altantuya Shaariibuu lodged a police report the day she went missing, alleging that she was afraid that a man named “Razak Baginda” would kill her.

The report, tendered through eighth prosecution witness Kons Nurwazlihawa Ibrahim, was typed by herself at the Jalan Tun H.S. Lee police station at 1pm on Oct 19.

The 19-year-old constable said the report was written in English and since she was not well versed in the language, she had asked a colleague, Kons Mohd Salleh Ibrahim to explain to her what the report was about.

“Salleh told me that the complainant (Altantuya) had alleged that a man named Razak Baginda had hired a few men to tail her.
