CHOOSING THE GAME FOR THE TRAINING SESSION

Holla Mi Amor,
Negotiation camp was held on 12/12/15 (such a beautiful date to remember along with its awesome memories). People say 'great ending comes with greater pain'. Am not saying that it was really hard to start everything until it became a successful Negotiation Camp but it did passed through few steps before it really happen on that day. One of the crucial step is we have to choose games to be played during the training session.
It was quite a challenge for us at first as all the games should be related to negotiation and no one of us had any idea of what negotiation games should be. But then during our second meeting, I was impressed that we could came up with few games on negotiation till we have to vote in order to deduct few games.
In my views, there were few challenges that we have to face before final games were finalized which are:

  1. choosing the game that is easy for the participants yet it comes with a great meaning underpin it.
  1. voting for the best 4 games among the best, (where the other 2 games proposed by Mr. G)
  1. adapting the games to make it authentic for our targeted participants.
At the end, we managed to choose the best 4 games with the other 2 games proposed by Mr. G. Yeay! Oh ya, they are Group Identity Game, Fact or Fiction, The Vacation Game, The Betrayal Game, The Ranking Game and WereTiger.

Much Love, Ain. xoxo.

Hye Ain!

I agree when you stated that we were unclear about what negotiation games was all about. But, then we managed to understand what was the meaning of it. All those games are useful for us and the participants. We exposed ourselves to negotiate and at the same time learn something new from the games. For my opinion, this programme was beneficial for the participants and us.
