My Reflection of the Negotiation Camp (Intan)

Assalamualaikum and Hello everyone,

The good news is that 'We are done with the Negotiation Camp!'

Congratulations to everyone and thank you so much for the effort and help to conduct the camp. I really enjoyed the camp and I sincerely believe that we, the facilitators, had a good time during the camp. It was very memorable and enjoyable camp.

Now, let's get into my reflection of the camp. First of all, I would like to apologize to my fellow photographers for not being able to provide sufficient battery power for the cameras. Though we had three main cameras, but the cameras were soon out of battery. I had made sure that I charged my camera's battery but it was surely not enough to be used throughout the camp. I was astonished to found that the batteries were low and that we had to use our phones while waiting for the batteries to be charged. I sincerely apologized for such inconveniences. I should have ensure that I have some backup batteries or cameras that can be used.

Next, I am grateful that all of the photographers in charged of the slots were present during their slots. Thank you for giving me such commitment. I was worried to hear that some felt tired holding on to the cameras because they were heavy. I wished I could provide lighter cameras to be used by the photographers. It was funny and pleased to see the photographers jumping, walking, rushing and running around the hall to capture memorable moments. I am pretty sure that some of you still could not feel your legs for doing so much activities. Well, I can assure you that you are not alone. I feel your pain as well. Let's be optimistic and consider it as part of our daily exercises. Thank you for your effort!

Another reflection of mine is that, I wish I could be more friendly with the participants and persuade them to take part with the interview session. This is because when I approached the participants, some refused to be interviewed and to make sure that they did not feel any pressure and awkwardness, I did not persuade them. I moved on to another participants. I have reflected that one needs to be persuasive and convince the participants to take part in the interview. However, I managed to interview several participants and I am grateful for their help.

Lastly, I would like to thank Mr.G and all of my fellow classmates again for the effort, guidance and help to make this camp a successful (I think. Hehe) and enjoyable camp. I would also like to ask for forgiveness if there are any some sort of inconveniences from the multimedia department. We helped one another, we tortured one another, but we are still sticking with each other. If we were asked to conduct such camp again, I would really love to work with the same team again.

Thank you everyone! :)

Here are the final pictures that I took before my memory card went full.

(This was not taken by me cause I am in the picture)

(This is by me, I am not in the picture)

That's all from me. Thank you everyone.

I'm sorry intan if the videos are not in high quality. I don't have the adequate skill in recording video but i'm starting to learn it. Next time, i'll promise a better video if there is a next time. So I really hope that we could conduct another camp next time together with the phoenixers. :)
