Entry 4 (pre – camp)
Preparing for the camp aroused anxiety in me and I could not wait to go for the camp. There sure was loads of work to be done before we could actually go for the camp. Besides planning the lesson plans and activities to be implemented at the camp, we had to do a banner and wrap up presents and hampers before going for the camp. Good god, trust me … this is a great deal of work. Especially when we only had another week to hand in our PSM proposal. Everyone has got her own problems and circumstances, yet it is each member’s responsibility to help in the preparation for the camp. It was fun, I should say, working with course mates, outside the classroom. This was the first time ever, after being course mates for 3 years, that we worked on a camp together. A fantastic experience, at least it relieved me of my ‘PSM fever’ for a couple of hours, which we spent together. No one did anything greater than the other did because each of us played an equal part, praying for the success of the camp. We worked all we could at all times and awaited enthusiastically to experience the camp.
