1. To investigate LSP developments in teaching and teacher training, professional areas, communication, research and language consultancy.

2. To provide a platform for the exchange of ideas, insights, research findings and expertise among LSP practitioners.

3. To strengthen collaboration between institutions of higher learning and corporate sectors and industries.

Presentations can be done in the following formats:

• Commercial Presentations


Language of presentation:
• English
• Bahasa Melayu



ABSTRACT

An abstract of not more than 200 words in length should contain the following:
• Title
• Objective(s)
• Methodology
• Scope
• Main findings/Key Issues


The abstract should be accompanied with:
• Name, Affiliation and E-mail address of Presenter(s)
• Seminar Strand
• 50-word Biodata of Presenter(s)
• Format of Presentation
• Equipment Required


The abstract could be submitted through mail, fax, e-mail (lsp2008abstract@utm.my) or the web page by 30 September 2007.







FEES/REGISTRATION

The full registration fee covers lunch, refreshments and seminar materials.

The following rates apply:

Full-time Students*
(in Malaysian universities only) RM 250

* Proof of student status is required.


Payment (in local cheque or bank draft) should be made payable to BENDAHARI UTM and sent directly to the Secretariat.
