My Reflection of the Language Camp (Fad)

Hello! Assalamualaikum.

"Finally, it's over" was the first thing came in my mind after the game. There was this one strange feeling lingering me after that. I was relieved but I think I felt more than that and I cannot describe that feeling.

I knew all of us deserved to be happy after what we have done and gone through to ensure the program a success. I realized that I learnt a lot from the program.

#1 There's always someone better than you
Some of us felt a little bit intimidated by some of the students whose English are good. Knowing that we are TESLians, the expectation is higher. I was chickening inside but I thought, "Never mind, we got this, I got this" and that was how I kept going, putting up 'confidence' on my forehead, figuratively.

#2 Always do what you love
Even without the language camp, I have always had this belief within me, as a guide to whatever I want to do. However, with this language camp come to an end, it is the feeling after completing it that I want to experience again. I realized how much I love English and meeting new people and offer them what I have.

All in all, language camp is a good platform for me as a student and future educator who wants to unleash what I can do.
Thank you to Mr. G for the opportunity and everyone who has contributed to this event.

Indeed everyone feels the same way. Being a TESL-ian, people always expect you are so good with English that no faulty English should come out of you mouth. And yes, the word 'confidence' do help a lot.
