My reflection of play day

Hi Guys!

I hope all of you are in good conditions and still have a cheerful day even tough there are lots of assignments waiting to be done.

Okay, 18th February 2006 was a precious date that I will never forget. All of us, the third year TESL students were gathered at Dewan Sri Alam, KTF to have the language play day starting from 8 in the morning till approximately to 5 o?clock in the evening. Honestly, the play day was extremely fun! We played ten language games that were really fascinating and challenging our mental, physical and emotion.

My group was the second to play on that day. My partner, Masliza and I were presenting the ?Magic Box? game. I noticed that at the beginning of the game we were having difficulties to handle the participation of you, guys. The instructions also given maybe were not so clear, right? By the way, thank you very much my friends for really enjoyed participating our game. I appreciated the responses that you have given to us. (I really loved to see all your hands raised up to answer the clues. It looked like kindergarten kids who were eager to answer their teacher). We already improvised our game after the play day and I hope that during the ?Language Camp? the ?magic box? will be the superb game ever. Not to forget to say million thanks to my cute partner, Masliza who was with me thinking, preparing and organizing the ?magic box?. This was the first time I work with her. It was fun. Also, I would like to express my special gratitude to Mr.G who gave us ideas and positive comments towards our game in order to make it perfect. Thank you so much Mr.G. We will try our best to improve the game. Promise you that.

Basically, during the play day I have learned so many things regarding learning English in a fun way from all the games that we have played. Maybe I can implement the ideas from your game guys, to my students in future. I really enjoyed playing all of our games including Shai?s and Mimi?s game.

In terms of relationship, I felt very happy as we were so close during the play day like one big family. We played, laughed and enjoyed ourselves together. Even tough sometimes we gave comments and argued on our friends? games yet we were all open-minded and we all know that it was for our own sake. I really hope that this kind of relationship will remain forever.

Last but not least, before I end my reflection of play day, I would like to say thank you again to all the board committee members who were struggling very hard to make our play day a reality. (You guys are great!).  Till to see all of you at Tanjung Bidara so soon. We will rock there because we are the best and always the best.  TESL forever.

truly, madly, deeply me ...
