Reflection of Play Day
Assalamualaikum and hi….every one ???
It is already late actually to send this reflection, but I don’t want to miss to talk about the interesting event that was held on the Saturday, 18 February 2006. KTF!! We will come again….The Play Day. This is my first experience having a whole day playing language games and it is really impressed me. We have had lunch together, taking picture, screaming and the eagerness to win. It will be the sweetest memory to be remembered. Frankly speaking, I have personally enjoyed each of with every group performance. There are about 10 groups come out with their creative ideas. I like those games very much.
This is the time for us to do something that is not only for educating purpose but also to have some fun. Working as teamwork, and producing a good activity will give us satisfaction. This is the best time to know our classmates better. Thanks to my partner Watts because we have successfully prepared our material and shared ideas in producing a creative Speechless game slot. Hopefully all of you have enjoyed our game (SPEECHLESS). However, our game was not only for the play day. It is also for the language camp, our great event. I’m sure that everyone feels exited to perform their game for the language camp. Therefore, there are certain areas of the games that need some improvements and modifications to make sure it will be practical and effective.
We have tried our best for the game, but there are certain criteria that need to be improved. We felt sorry for that, and finally we managed to explain the misunderstanding and they were satisfy with our explanation The comments and advices given will be very useful for us to improve our presentation in the future. We have learnt from our mistake. I know this is a fun game, but may be some of you have misunderstood the rules so that you are not enjoying the game well.
Fun!!! That the suitable word that can I give to explain about the day. But, I think we should not forget what had happen to some of our classmates. It’s was a tragedy. When I was there with Yana , I saw Nick was not in a good mood and I tried to calm her down and Lenny tried to settle about the car crashed. We could consider this as learning from our mistakes. It was a bad experience especially to Lenny, the driver and the passenger too. Hope everything is good now.
Before I end this reflection, I would like to dedicate this special thanks to the board committees and all the 3rd year TESLians for your hard work and support. Thank you to Mr. G for your guidance and advices. Your ideas make everyone exited to improvise their games for the up coming language camp.
