contribution to elc'07

MY CONTRIBUTION TO ELC '07
Since everybody is showing off with their contribution to the camp, I am going to do the same. Well, let's not call it as a "show off". I prefer to call it 'fly your own kite'(sounds down to earth, isn't?)haha=p  .I think I'm not going to over-do it. Showing off is not good for your health anyway. ahaks!Okay, here are some of my contribution to the camp
  • I was not involved directly with the t-shirt matter but since I have a car, I did helped pka to collect the t-shirt from the factory. Small contribution but it means a lot. hehe..
·        Again, because of the car, I was able to help anim and ana to buy the materials as well as the souvenirs at Tmn U.
·        Other than that, because of the language camp, I had a chance to be the 'photostat girl'.(a chance for me to practice since I planned to work at the photostat shop soon.haha).The story is like this: Me, awer, ana and wani went to K9 to complete the manuals. Since Pn Hanim know me(because I am in her ko-q lass), she asked me to photostat the manuals and the handouts myself. Actually, it was fun playing with the photostat machine!=p
·        During the camp, I think I was the audio girl. This was not my original job actually but since we were all busy with our own tasks, it's not a big deal to help others, right?
·        I was assigned to handle the 'musical paper' during the camp. Although there were a small injury during the game, it was kind of fun I think. I also handled the closing ceremony which I think was smooth.
·        Moreover, the 'word idol' game was the idea from my group .(anim & awer). The 'waiter' game was also our idea but it was replaced by the 'megastructure'.Proud huh?
·        I was also assigned to be at the check point at the parking lot.You know what?my checkpoint was the farthest and the most isolated checkpoint compared to others. I was so bored there!Luckily there were some guys who passed by at my place so I had the chance to enjoy the "beautiful scenery".ahaks!I did the tongue-twister with the participants at the checkpoint and the participants enjoyed it.
·        Another things that I did was collecting the room keys before we departed to UTM with pka.BUT Pka didn't remember me!huhu..
Ok.I think I fly my kite high enough. Its not the matter of contribution here but the memories that counts..(",) –NAD-

REFLECTION OF ELC '07
At first, before we started the work-phase of the language camp, what I thought was: "owh..another language camp..How is it going to be?" Throughout the time, I learned a lot actually. Although I have been involved in a lot of programs before, this camp was really different. Maybe, it was because we the facilitators (14 of us) have already known each other and we did have chemistry among us. Can you imagine working with 14 crazy, enthusiastic, happy-go-lucky and hardworking people without quarrelling at all? This is amazing I think. Mr G said that he was hoping for a quarrel but so sorry Mr G, your wish did not come true. huhuu.. From the camp, I learned how to control my emotion, how to deal with 'difficult' people and as my friend said, I learn to improvise things. Again, the keyword here is 'improvise'. Other than that, I think that this camp gave a chance for us to create a new bond with new people i.e. the participants as well as strengthen existing bond among me and my friends. I did not look at the participant as a participant, but it is more to friends. Besides, same as the participants,we the facis also improved our English. Both of us got the same advantage. Overall, this camp is the sweetest memory that I have during my study and I really hope that we can work together again.(",) -NAD-

Hi, nad...
Luckily you were there during the printing process. If not I will be the one operating the machine..huhu..Lucky me..Agree with you that it's not the amount of contribution that counts but rather the memories that are still lingered in our heads that matter the most..Thanks to all of you for giving me another happy memories to be remembered during my old days...huhu...
