My Responsibility for the Negotiation Camp (Yana)

For this Negotiation Camp, I was in charged for souvenir committee. With a limited budget, I need to carefully plan on what to be given to the best participant and the best group. After we had our meeting, everyone agreed that they should be received a small present for the best groups participant and a big hamper for the best group. It was a great challenge though to buy things with a small budget but I managed to buy things within our budget after some surveys done on prices.
On the actual day, I was a facilitator for an awesome group named BIPLUTOWAZEDUO. I was very surprised to receive a very high commitment, tolerate, good and co-operative group members. I was not expecting that because I thought they would be bored easily with our games because they are big enough to play the game but I was WRONG! They stayed focus until the end without any bored faced shown to me and my partner during handling them. The participants were really awesome and they are easy to handle too. During playing the games, I just cannot stop myself from joining them too because they made all the games more interesting than what we had played during our meeting. Hahaha. What I was proud of is that some of them always rephrased the game instructions to make other members understand the rule well and they enjoyed the game! Yeay!
After all, it was not an easy task to be a facilitator. I need to always be alert and show a quality of being a good facilitator too. Even it was a tiring day, I had gained a valuable experience that can help me a lot in my future career.

  1. yes, Yana. I agree with you where we need to show a good quality of being a facilitator. There is one of my junior in your group, I am glad that he gives a positive comment about you and you partner when handling the game. definitely, you are a good facilitator as we are always put ourselves on the participants' feet each time when they can't understand the instruction.
