The camp was very exciting. I and Lin were the
facilitators for the group Nemo. Altogether we have 13
members but on the second day, one of our group
members fell sick and was sent home. They are a bunch
of active children. We have fun playing all the games
with them. Their level of English is quite okay, they
just have problem with spelling. They like singing a
lot. Whenever we have free time we either write the
buddy journal or sing songs. Nemo is judge as the most
creative group, 2nd in Amazing Race, 3rd in Treasure
Hunt and 2nd in garbage buster.

A brief report on the English Language Camp A by the Director, Lee Yong Yong

In cooperation with FELDA and sponsored in part by Faculty of Education, University Technology Malaysia, we ran a three days two nights English language camp on February 6, 2004 in SK FELDA Tenggaroh 6, Mersing, Johor Darul Takzim. The following is a brief report on the outcomes of the English language camp.
As the Director of this English camp, I believe that this English Language Camp has been carried out successfully and fruitfully. We have been able to achieve all our camp objectives as the students are not only motivated and inspired to speak and learn in English but the facilitators too indeed have been able to adapt and practice the knowledge of teaching-learning theories learnt by adjusting our teaching styles and expectation levels to the standards of Primary Six children.
Throughout this three days camp, I realized that coordination, teamwork and commitment are extremely important elements to ensure the entire programme to be run smoothly. For this, I have realized that things planned are not always the final draft of everything. Due to unforeseen factors such as weather for example, sometimes things have to change and as the Director, I play a very vital role in getting things coordinated and at the same time making sure that all my facilitators are still highly motivated in carrying out their duties.
In addition, I wholeheartedly believe that a leader should lead by examples by getting involve and helping his or her team members to carry out their duties as well. Here, I have been able to hold on still to this motto until today, which I believe contributes to the spirit of my team members and I, myself in holding on and maintaining our duties, responsibilities and the good name of our institution and lecturers in general. As an overall, this language camp has been successfully run and achieving our expectations and objectives of this camp add colours to the success of this English Language Camp A.

so guyz, do you ready for this a- brand -new lang camp, a chance of us to get together to add to our corpus of memories.
there wil be a diff in this coming camp. the participant wil be the final year student, meaning they wil be in the same age as ours. that wil call for another approach in dealing with this young-adult persona. hahah lotsa assignment coming, feel the true feeling of getting busy and a pain in your neck cos this might be the last student life we r goin through! The Coming Camp

Just to inform you guys that we will have another language camp this semester. the special thing about this language camp is that we will facilitate the final year UTM students. because of that, all facilitators will undergo a training session before going to the camp. we will have a lot of LDKs this time and not much games. the language camp will be on the 9th january 2004. there will be 20 facilitators altogether. so, lets join forces.

hi ya people!!It's me again ;only this time around I'm blogging from my home in Sarawak!!!he..he..It's great to be back in my hometown after a year in Skudai..Boy..there are rapid changes in my small town here in Sri Aman.There are more tall buildings,fastfood chains(my indulgence),shopping malls and nice waterfront for people to view some crocodiles..he.he...I almost couldn't believe it..Only one thing I regret.There is no more small forest in front of my house...It has been cleared by the local municipal for housing estate....haiya...I feel hot all the time because there is no more bamboo trees to cover my room's balcony...keji sungguh!!!anyway, I hope everyone is happy and enjoying their fasting month especially to my Muslim friends...cherish this moment when you are able to fast with your family and friends.I also managed to go to the local PaRam(Pasar Ramaddan) and hunt for ikan terubuk masin....he..he...anyway, I have a good news and a bad news for everyone.It's regarding me:of course.I will only be back to UTM after raya and the bad news is I cannot "kacau" everyone during the fasting period lah.....:P Anyway, I've just booked my christmas flight online...memang betul cakap Kenneth..~"It's so easy..it's all right"...~singing the song~anyway....I hope everyone is happy till the OTAI level and as for me..I am truly blessed with home cooked dishes and ample afternoon naps!!!!I think I might gain some weight...tidak!!!!!!or else..I'll become Kenneth's Evil Twin..he..he(jangan mare pakcik)he..he...oklah...that's all for now.Do feel free to blog and call me at home.I am 24 hours ready and on-call.he..he.last but not least.

Hi all!!!! getting overwhelmed with your holiday, until no room to breathe? for me, i really need a clue or i ll lose my nerves. too free to just sit down and doing nothing. ( hahaha! who wants to tell the truth!).

Hi ya people!!It's me again!!!well, I just want to tell everyone that I am going back to Kuching tomorrow night.I'll be taking the last flight from Senai around 9.00pm...boy, I am very happy.My tuition classes end a week earlier..So, last night;as soon as my boss told me that the class yesterday will be the last class for this year.I screamed with joy..well, not in front of her..but later when I went back to Melana.I sang all the way back..ermm..what was the song again..yeah!!Money,Money,Money by ABBA...I think because I realized that I run short of money after I counted my flight ticket..:P..well, anyway, I immeadiately called the MAS operator and told her that I want to change my flight from the original 30 october to 24..he..he...and I did not tell Syaharil until just now when we 're on our way to get dinner...He looked sad because I have to leave all alone in Melana.......so, I "racun" him to go back to Sabah...well, I think the evil plan is working..he..he..anyway, that's my story for today..So, I'll not linger in the cyber space for two weeks I guess.man...I really need a break......Maybe go to the beach at Santubong and swimming with the baboons the beach nearby..he..he..see ya..soonn....oh..by the way, I wish all the best for the up coming result....hope to see smiling faces when I'm back..he..he.
