What do I learn from the training sessions?

Hi everyone :)

Now what do I learn from the training sessions huh? Well not to state the obvious, but I'll do it anyway, I learn a lot from the training sessions. One of them is sometimes things would never be the same as what we expect them to be. I mean we can always write and design our games perfectly for the students. In fact, we even expect them to play and participate actively in the class but you guys know what? Things that are beautiful on the paper may not be beautiful and perfect when they are implemented in the reality. Sometime we forget to walk in their shoes. Sometime we forget to put ourselves in their perspectives. Sometime we forget to view world like they do. And when that happens and I promise you it will happen, do not be sad. It is a part of learning process and we humans do make mistakes. I know your students may not want to participate in the game that you have designed. I know sometime they are confused and do not even know what to do during the game. But hey, it is not the end of the day. You will still wake up to see another sun shine. So put yourselves together, design the games creatively, but this time do not forget to put yourselves in the students' shoes. Walk them through the game and this time, what beautiful is you having fun with them.

Thank you guys.
