Hello everybody.
I must say that I learned a lot from the training session
and I bet all of you did learn a lot too, right? There are so much new games
that I have learned in the training session, whether it is from Mr G or from
the idea of my classmates. I think all of us did a great job in coming out with
interesting games to be played in the class. My favourite game would be Fadhilah’s
game, which is the four-letter-word game. I think the game is interesting to
play and the rule of the game is easy to understand. The students also have to
come out with various vocabularies in order to win the game.
In my opinion, most of the games that we have played are
interesting and suit to be applied in the class. However, we should first consider
the students’ proficiency level before applying the games in the class. I
enjoyed every class as I always looking forward to play new games every
weekend. I’m so going to miss this class very much!
To add some more, I like the idea of this blog too since all
of us can share our lesson plan of the games here. So, it would be easy for our
future references if we are going to teach someday (who knows? haha).
I agree with you too Seha, on the fact that we one of the most important factor we must consider in constructing a game for our students is on the proficiency level of the students. This is because, if there is a mismatch on the proficiency level of the students and the game, then it problems will arise because the students may not understand the game or they might not be interested to play if the game is considered as 'too easy' for them.
