Language Camp A (During)

Moving on to the day where the language camp took place. We went to SMK Masai 2 early in the morning and when we arrived there, the students were already done with their registration and were waiting for us in the hall. The first thing that we do is to get on stage to introduce ourselves and did a little bit of stretching. Then we settled into our groups for the first activity which is 'ice breaking'. At this moment it turns out that these kids are so shy to speak. They would talk but it sounds like they were whispering. And I thought that I have to push myself to make them feel comfortable to talk and also participate in the activities. Thankfully we got along after that, however, they seemed to be more comfortable speaking in Bahasa. It's a good thing that we have to keep being motivated throughout the program although in certain situations, I felt kind of dreadful when things does not go according to plan. I have to accept there are certain things that was out of my control. But Alhamdulillah, the language camp went smoothly that day. Everything went well for the rest of us too.
