Language Camp A (Pre) - Nurnajwa

Before the actual day of the camp, we had done a few things as a preparation for the upcoming camp. These are some of the preparations that we did before the camp:

1.  Meeting - In the meeting, we discussed on who to be responsible for which game that will be played in the camp. For my part, I was responsible for the Ice Breaking Session. We played the same game as we did in the first class of the Language Game class. We also documented on how to play the games and the rules of the games. After that, we shared it with the rest of the facilitators so that everyone knows what to do and how to do it.
2. Simulations - We did some brief simulations for the games that were going to be played in the camp, especially games which are kind of complicated. And after the simulations, we found out that we needed to change some of the instructions and rules of certain games to make it suitable for primary school students with low proficiency in English.
3. Preparing the Materials - Before we prepare the materials, we discussed on what kind of materials that will suit the students. For example, the words that are going to be used in charade and so on. Those who were given the responsibility to a certain game needed to prepare materials for the particular game.
