This is my very first time of becoming a facilitator
for language camp. Two weeks before Language Camp B was conducted, we were
informed by Mr. Ghazali that we will have a 1 day camp at SK Kota Masai 2 on
27th September 2014. We were assigned to work together to make this
camp a success.
Before the language camp, we met twice to assign role
for each person and discuss about our progress. Me, Pei Rong and Pei Ching were
responsible to come out with the lesson plan of ‘Charade’. Since three of us
already have the experience of playing the game ‘Charade’ during Mr. Ghazali’s
class, it was not a burden job for us to come out with the rules and
regulations for this game. The vocabulary paper strip which we get from other source
was filtered by us to suit the level of our students which is Form 2.We can’t wait
for this game to be happened since it includes body language to transmit
messages which we considered as fun and enjoyable.
A day before the language camp, we met again at
Kolej Tun Fatimah to have a briefing for ‘Game Master’. Questions were raised up
and confusions were solved on the spot. Through this, facilitators can get a
clearer image for every game to avoid chaotic situation during the camp which
we were worried about. Before we end our meeting, we decided to depart at 7am
on the next day since the camp will start at 8:30am.
