[Station Game] - Let's Play Bingo

Hihi, my station game is called 'Let's Play Bingo'.

Since I've prepared the trainer's document (which is clearer and more detailed than just a simple description of the game), I'm posting it here so that everyone can understand it better. Any feedback is welcome~ =)

Trainer’s Document

Game Title:
Let’s Play Bingo! 
Game Type: 
Question and Answer Game
Object:
This game aims to assess students’ current knowledge in their use of English. It also aims to raise students’ awareness about the common mistakes they make in using the language.
Rules:
1) Players should communicate in English only.
2) Players should not refer to any form of references such as dictionary, mobile phone dictionary and Online Search Engine (e.g. Google).

Group Size:
One group of five to ten people.

Language Skills:
a) Macro Skills – Listening and Reading.
b) Micro – Grammar & Vocabulary.

Level:
Intermediate level and above.
Duration:
20 minutes (5 mins briefing + 15 mins game)


Preparation:
a) Teacher has to prepare a bingo card (7x7) as shown below.

b) Teacher has to prepare a list of 49 questions (refer to ‘Question & Answer Sheet’). 

Materials:
1. Bingo card
2. Question & Answer Sheet
3. Player’s Handout

Procedure:
1) Teacher distributes the bingo card.
2) Teacher explains the name, objective, rules and procedure of the game.
For game procedure, refer to ‘Player’s Handout’.
3) Teacher demonstrates the game.
4) Teacher starts the game.
5) Teacher ends the game and counts the score.

  1. Bingo card seeems so interesting and the scores given look so clearly and challenging . Hope they can enjoy the game and feel challenge.

  2. so we do not need to print the bingo card separately, right? They will scribble on their booklet ya?

  5. are you sure about the duration? 15 min seems like not enough to play the game. however, it looks a good game to lay, so enjoy
