1.0        INTRODUCTION

 

Seems everyone already posted the reflection & contribution 'thesis'.. now, I guess it's my turn   to publish my 'thesis' here.    .. Although I actually didn't contribute that much likes others.   But, at least .. I did contribute something… rite? :P   So, let's go to the FIRST section ; MINOR CONTRIBUTION TO DA ELC-STARP 2K7.

 

2.0        LITERATURE REVIEW

 

 

2.1    MY MINOR CONTRIBUTION TO THE ELC – STARP 2K7

 

2.1.1          pre-camp

 

For the ELC-STARP 2K7, I've been assigned as the co-secretary with MISS AZRA. Actually, there's nothing much I've done as a secretary.  AZRA did everything including the proposal, slides for each meeting and also minutes of the meeting.   Give credits to AZRA.   Psstt.. actually I don't mind if u ask me to help u AZRA.   :P I'm quite free before the camp u know.. and that make NORA jealous with me  :P  hahaha.. :P   .  So, seems AZRA can handle everything, I just helped here n there. Some of it were; helping NORA n AZRA to paint the banner for DRAMA PRESENTATION. Da banner quite cute right NORA, AZRA?   wakaka. .seems nobody wanna praise the banner, let us praise ourselves.  Hahaha..   credits to NORA n AZRA. We managed to settle it within a couple of hours.. right? Congrate to us!   again, "put ourselves in the basket.."     

NEXT, I also helped the SOUVENIR BUREAU to buy all the stuff for the souvenir things.   Quite happy do the shopping with u gals! J  Although it was quite tiring.. right? Especially when we have to take up the trolley to the car…  :p  do the 'tawaf' things in the  skudai parade,  angsana   angsini… giant.. kipmart.. it was painful for my feet. Pity them.   but, at the same time, we managed to release our tension as well .. right NOWA? We managed to 'donate' a lot.. ahaks!  Then, I also have to scarifies my sleeping time to entertain the SOURVENIR'S LEADER with all the hesitations, confusion, confession, depression and so many other –sion things.   errr.. can that be considered as contribution huh? Err..maybe not I guess. 

What else? Mmm.. oh ya.. I also in charge for the preparation of the pamphlet things. For both CLOSING n PROGRAM BOOK. Actually, I've prepared something else for the program book, however due 2 the technology problem, I have to improvise a lot..  Hope u don't mind MR.G   I almost gave up when dealing with the techno prob.   However, at 5:00 am, I decided to turn the booklet into pamphlets version and it works!    So happy although it was not that nice. Sorry, I'm not an ART person though our course falls under ART category.   

 

2.1.2          during-camp

 

During the camp itself.  I've been assigned to GROUP D and our MINI DIRECTOR was MR FADHLI. As for the subgroups within the GROUP D, I've been assigned to ZORO group with my partner MISS AMMANI. My other group mates for the GROUP D were MISS SUMIMASEN, MISS AISYAH, MISS LIANA and MISS GRACE. It was a great experience working with all of u guys!!   luv our kids so much .. especially ZORO of course.   as for the game master during the camp, I've in-charged for the games "WHO AM I?", "THE NAME GAME" and "NIE-FUTURE IN YOUR HANDS".   I might not one of the active facis but I think I still managed to handle my kids… I do admit that my voice is not loud enough attract others' attention..  I think I have to learn from the PRO [ sumimasen & fadhli ]  OR   next time (if any), I'll bring the microphone…  

 

2.1.3          post-camp

 

As for the post-camp task, I've been assigned to do the analyzing things.   I've to analyze the questionnaire / reflection form from our kids. I haven't completed it yet.. but, roughly most of them want us to be there for a more longer periods. But, what to do .. we have   2 come back to our beloved university.. right friends?    opssiee.. is that mean I have to analyze that questionnaire using SPSS huh?  aiyyooo.. I've haven't acquaint with it yet.. how ar? Mmm.. maybe MISS NORA could help me huh?   u are good in experimenting new software ..don't u?    oh ya, almost forgot, other than the analyzing thing, all of us have to prepare our 'thesis' on CONTRIBUTION as well as REFLECTION towards the ELC-STARP 2K7 and THIS is it!

 

In conclusion for this section, I would like to thank all of you that involved in this camp; ELC-STARP 2K7 directly or indirectly.   Also apology for any wrong doing before, during or after the camp. 

 

 

2.2    MY REFLECTION ON THE ELC – STARP 2K7

 

The moment during the camp can be uploaded as the most precious moments in my life.   This is my first experience being a faci and it was a great experience.   As I've been assigned to Group D; the most happening group, I'm thankful for that. I really enjoyed myself with them.  I'm sure all of the facis in the FANTASTIC FOUR also enjoyed themselves, am I right?    alhamdulillah everything going smoothly throughout the camp.  No injuries, no fighting and no technical problems.  Thanks to all FACIS for their FANTASTIC jobs!    My favorites' sessions during the camp were HAPPY MELODIES, DRAMA PRESENTATION, BATTLESHIP, THE LAST LETTER and of course FACIS' PERFORMANCE.     It was quite surprised to discover our unexpected talents on dancing.. right friends?   Credits to SULIA, BECCA and INA for teaching us the MUSICAL steps.    Besides that, I've also improved my self esteem and confident to speak this 'ALIEN' language in front of crowd. I'm sure others also feel the same.. right?   Also I'm hoping that our kids get something although not everything from the camp.   Wish them  "GaNBaTTe KuDaSaI !!".  Also not forgotten "ALL THE BEST" to ourselves too.  "AJA AJA FIGHTING!! " for the exams.
