MY PRECIOUS CONTRIBUTION TOWARDS ELC 2007
I was in-charged for LODGING. Fortunately, my job had been taken over by K9. I wasn't sure why did they do so. Perhaps they weren't confident enough towards me? But trust me
they missed to see my capability.
I conducted 'Familiar Tune' slot. Preliminarily, I needed to create one example of cheer accompanied with cute movements which later on was used proudly by all facis to show our group spirit.
Also, I'd invented The Camp Cheer to capture the spirit of the whole camp, not just among group mates. Guess what, it helped when it came to 'silent moment' especially at that night at K9 before we departed.
Here comes the best part! I was the emcee for the whole ELC2007, whether in informal or formal ceremonies, starting from the night at K9. Hanim was my MC partner. It was me who stood on the stage surrounded by candles handling the Drama Presentation while it blacked out. Undeniably, it was happening. Right, frens? A friend of mine (one of the participants) came n said to me "Sophia, you're born to be an English-speaking MC!". I took that as a compliment. Heheh
For the closing ceremony, once again, I (with Hanim) was the MC. We handled the event in our special style. Thanks to Mr.G for the 'nominees' ideas. So I planned it to be like The Grammy Award like having the results of winners in envelopes. Thanks to Jaja for the cool gimmick. It was happening too. Right girls?
Other contributions (but still precious):
- Scooping food for all the participants
- Running up and down the hill at night with 3 other friends looking for Kak Pah's handbag
- Suggesting and providing the lyrics 'That Thing You Do' for Dayah's slot
We made it, frens! Thanx...
