TEACHER-STUDENT ACTIVITIES
Set Induction:
Teacher tells students that they are going to do revision on singular and plural nouns through games. Teacher then shows a few pictures, where in some pictures there is only one thing while others there are more than one thing. Teacher asks students one by one to tell the singular or plural nouns of the pictures shown and spell the words. Teacher writes the words on the whiteboard.
Material = Flashcards
Duration = 5 minutes

Activity 1:
Teacher introduces the Snake and Ladder game. Teacher distributes Worksheet to students and explains the instructions clearly. Teacher asks students whether they have any doubts or questions. Teacher tells students to consult him or her if the students have any problems during the game.
Material = Worksheet
Duration = 5 minutes

Activity 2:
Teacher asks students to get into groups of four or five. Teacher then distributes the gameboard, dice and cubes to every group. Students can start playing as soon as they get all the materials needed. (Please refer to Worksheet for Teachers to understand what teachers are supposed to do throughout the game.)
Materials = Gameboard, dice, cubes, worksheet for teachers

Activity 3:
Teacher stops the game and asks students if there are disagreements over any of the singular or plural nouns. If lets say Group A comes up with disagreement, teacher refers the problem to the other groups so that students learn to teach each other. Teacher only gives answer as a last resort. Teacher also brings up any singular or plural nouns where everyone in a group was wrong.
