today i'm going to forward my personal view on the lg. camp. first of all i'd like to address the notion of lg. camp itself. well i think lg. camp means more than just having games. it should be covering almost everything about the language. there should be a lot of input as well as a lot of output. the purpose of a language camp should seek to help expose students to studying english and of more importance prepare them for english exams. well our camp at air manis might conform to some of these objectives but considering the nature of the students, games alone may not be of help to them. it maybe my biased view on this but i doubt that the students did learn anything from the games conducted. we managed to instill some team work spirit in them and provide them with a little survival skill besides confidence, but what about learning english? it could hav been the time constraint that made it impossible to have more thorough activities or cmprehensive camp but i just wanna say that we need more input in the future (games might be more to output). what we can do is to organize a real language camp where teaching takes place just as much as playing games related to language.

regarding this whole camp, it was a good experience. though, i would like to suggest to mr. g that he raises the marks for this. i think 20% is just far too little mark for the workload that we endured. from my experience involving in activities alike, this lg. camp has achieved the status of university program. it went beyond what the course requirement expects. considering how everybody worked toward making this camp a success, mr. g ought to consider awarding extra marks for this camp. anyway, you mentioned that this camp is better than the previous one didn't you? so why not make some acknowledgement about it! thanx.
